Issue

When using validation with the Required type in the properties of an input element in a form, On change events of other elements in the form are not triggered when this validation fails. The image below shows this configuration for a Date Picker widget as an example:

Cause

This behavior is intended. The Required type check has precedence over custom validation and On change events. As long as the attribute with Required validation is empty, execution never reaches the subsequent validation steps. Solution / Workaround

There is no solution or workaround as this is intended behavior.
