Introduction

This article explains how to locate and collect log files for applications hosted in an on-premises Windows environment using the  Mendix Service Console.

Instructions/Procedure

Log files are stored in the deployment directory of the application. Follow these steps to locate the log files.

1. Open the Mendix Service Console.
2. Click Preferences.
3. Note the deployment location displayed in the preferences window.
4. Navigate to the deployment directory.
5. Open the Apps folder.
6. Open the folder of the affected application.
7. Open the log folder.
8. Collect the relevant log files.

Outcome

The required log files are collected and available for further investigation.
