[Widget Name] is not supported in React client

Environment

Studio Pro 11.0.0 and newer

Cause

Mendix is in the process of transitioning widgets to be fully React-compatible. Not all widgets have been updated yet, which results in this error appearing when the affected widgets are used in applications using the React client.

Solution / Workaround

There are two workarounds:

• Turn off the React client by navigating to Settings > Runtime > Use React client, and setting this to No.
• Use alternative widgets that are already React-compatible.

Widget support for React is expected to be introduced gradually. Since Dojo will only be removed in Studio Pro 12.0.0, some widgets, especially those with lower usage may not be updated until that stage. The remaining widget updates are expected no earlier than Q2 to Q3 2026. The Marketplace Component React Status page provides an overview of which widgets and modules are React client ready.
