Unable to extract microflow source code from Mendix application

Issue

After developing a Mendix application, there is a need to view/modify the underlying source code for the microflows in that application directly.

Environment

Studio Pro (all versions)

Cause

Microflows are stored in the Mendix metamodel, which is not designed to be human-readable. The MPR stores microflows in an encoded file format that is not intended to be read or modified directly by developers.

Solution/Workaround

It is not possible to export or access microflow source code directly from Mendix applications. To view/modify microflows in Mendix applications, navigate to the relevant microflow directly within Studio Pro.
