Introduction

This article explains how to apply custom styling to the maps widget without the advanced settings option, which has been removed in the latest versions of Studio Pro.

Studio Pro v10.24.11 and newer

Instructions/Procedure

The option for custom styles in the Maps widget's Advanced settings has been removed. A new library for Google Maps is being used in the new Mendix Studio Pro versions, which does not support the traditional method of styling maps. The option is to use the Cloud-based maps styling for customization.

Please note that this is not a supported approach, and any issues resulting from the custom styling are outside the scope of Mendix Support.

Outcome

By following these steps, cloud-based custom styling will be successfully applied to Google Maps widgets within the Mendix application, ensuring maps reflect the desired visual design.
