Issue

Due to the implementation of strict business security protocols, it is necessary to deactivate the Mendix artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, known as Maia, within the Studio Pro environment.

This option to disable this feature is not currently available.

Environment

Studio Pro v10.12.0 and newer

Cause

Maia, the Mendix AI assistant, is deeply integrated into the Studio Pro environment. At this time, there is no supported method for manually disabling Maia from within Studio Pro settings.

Solution / Workaround

Currently, no official solution exists to deactivate Maia in Studio Pro. However, the following steps can be considered as temporary workarounds:

• Isolate Studio Pro access via internal network segmentation for users who do not require Maia functionality. These are the hostnames that are used for AI capabilities in Studio Pro:
  · *.maia.mendix.com
  · *.rnd.mendix.com (for versions before 10.17)

• Submit an enhancement request via the Mendix Community Ideas Portal to advocate for a future toggle feature.
