It is no longer possible to use Microsoft App Center to build native mobile apps in the Mendix Native Mobile Builder.

Cause

Microsoft retired App Center on 31 March 2025, thus it is no longer possible to sign in with with a user account or make API calls to this service. For this reason, it is also no longer possible to use App Center when building native mobile apps with Mendix. For more details, see the Visual Studio App Center Retirement announcement.

Solution / Workaround

To resolve this issue, it is recommended to build the app locally by following the steps in our Build a Mendix App Locally documentation.

For users looking to automate the native app building process in the cloud with a continuous integration tool similar to App Center, there are some guides available for alternative third-party tools (note that Mendix only offers support if issues arise with the Mendix build process itself, and cannot provide support for problems related to the third-party tools listed below):
