Issue

When trying to perform any operations with an environment in Mendix Cloud, the following error appears:

You do not have sufficient privileges to manage your environment. Let someone else with the required privileges perform this action for you or ask the Technical Contact of this application to extend your privileges.

Cause

The team member has been added to the app project without setting the necessary node permissions.

Solution/Workaround

To resolve the issue, the app Technical contact (or any team member with permission-management access) must update the affected user’s permissions. Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to the Environments section for the app.

2. Switch to the Permissions tab.

3. In the drop-down list located in the upper-right corner, select the environment where permissions need to be adjusted.

4. Enable the necessary permissions to manage the desired access in the Cloud for the user.
