[Internal]On-prem license expiring in 1 day

Issue

In some cases, when an on-prem license is created in the License Portal (LP) and the email is sent from within LP by clicking on Email License Keys  button, the email details shows that the license expires the next day. The date of expiration seen is the next day from the date of creation giving it a lifespan of 1 day, as seen in the email details.

Environment

Applications hosted in On-Premises

Cause

This occurs when the customer does not have a base product. A base product, commonly referred to as platform subscription, is a product type that LP uses to determine some basic information such as license key end dates, Service Level Agreement type and number of users. It is required to create licensed products.

Solution / Workaround

The Account Manager needs to take care of this and the base product needs to get added in License Portal. After which the new licenses are automatically sent to the customer with the correct expiration dates.
